No. But thats a Great Thing! Currently, we don’t bill insurance in our clinic for the services we provide. That is what allows us to provide the necessary care that our patients’ need and deserve. If we bill insurance, we would be subject to the bureaucracy that prevent so many patients from getting the care and treatment they need. Additionally, our Direct Primary Care model is what allows us to provide our patients with the affordable rates that make traditional practices so expensive and inaccessible.

Absolutely. You would never use your car insurance to pay for an oil change or a car wash. Let’s think about your health insurance the same way. A low cost monthly membership for the day-to-day sick visits and preventative visits and health insurance for unexpected, high cost care.

Yes. Faith Wellness Center and Direct Primary Care in general are not insurance. We recommend that all our patients have some form of insurance or health sharing plan to cover unexpected costs associated with emergency or catastrophic illness.

In some cases, you can submit your receipt for membership fees, medications and lab costs. Some insurances will apply these payments to your deductible.

As a Member with Faith Wellness Center you can expect to have access to appointments without having to wait several days, weeks or months. You can expect to no longer be rushed through your visits and even have access for urgent matters after traditional office hours. Our Members have the benefit to choose from in-person visits and virtual Telehealth appoints, whichever is most convenient.

Illness and injuries don’t always happen during office hours. If you have any non-medical emergencies that don’t require treatment at an emergency room, after-hours appointments can be scheduled for visits via Telehealth. If you have any non-urgent questions such as medication refills or scheduling an appointment, please contact us during regular business hours. Also, appointments can be scheduled easily through the practice website which is available 24/7.

Medications commonly prescribed for chronic pain or sedatives for conditions such as anxiety are not prescribed at Faith Wellness Center. Members requiring treatment for these conditions will need to seek care with the appropriate specialist.

No, Faith Wellness Center does not prescribe long term-controlled substances such as narcotics or sedatives. We reserve the right to make the determination to provide controlled substances on a case-by-case basis. We will not write for narcotic or sedative medications.

No problem. We have “opted out” of Medicare. Currently, we do not submit a bills to Medicare for services provided. We can still write orders for labs, imaging and referrals that other facilities can bill to your Medicare.
